- Really nice to be out in the open sea again. Praia is a big city and the harbour really full of swell when it blows from the south, as we have had the past days. Also it has no services for yachts so we have to anchor out in the open.
We left at 0715 UTC in W wind 8 kts. At 1200 UTC our position is N 14 29,3 W 23 32,5 wind 5 - 7 kts still from W.
To keep up the speed, we use motor in addition to full sails, doing 5 to 6 kts depending on the wind. Had some clouds an light shower, now beautiful sunshine.
